Aberfeldy Distillery is the spiritual home of the USA's best selling Scotch Whisky.
Today, as well as being a working distillery, it also houses one of Scotland's best whisky heritage visitor centres.
Located just outside Aberfeldy, you'll not only learn about making Aberfeldy Single Malt whisky, but also about the art of blending and the amazing Dewar family, who started it all in the 19th century.
The interactive exhibition is one of the best in the Scotch whisky industry, and there's plenty to do even for those with families. The grounds are lovely, ideal for picnics in the summer, and there's even a short nature trail with a chance of spotting a red squirrel!
Aberfeldy Distillery is home to a selection of whiskies including; Dewar's White Label, Dewar's 12 year old, Dewar's 18 year old, Dewar's Signature, Aberfeldy 12 year old and Aberfeldy 21 year old. Dewar's Master Blenders have passed down skills for seven generations over the last 160 years.
Dewar's World of Whisky Visitor Centre includes a relaxing café and gift shop, where you can purchase a dram and souvenir to take home to remind you of your visit to Aberfeldy Distillery.
